Peter Obi, Alex Otti convened at Labour NEC meeting

Two prominent figures of the Labor Party – 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi and Abia Governor Alex Otti held a meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

The conference is scheduled to be held in Abuja on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

According to a notice jointly issued by Obi and Otti, the NEC meeting will follow the participation of the town hall involving key stakeholders and robots of various parties. The event will be held in Transcorp Hilton.

The signing of the notice by Peter Obi Media spokesman Ibrahim Umar lists the expected attendees, including the party’s 2023 vice presidential candidate, serving and former senators, senators from the 2023 election, House of Representatives, House of Representatives, House of Representatives, and LP candidates for the last candidate.

It is also expected to be a member of the National Caretaker Committee, the former governor candidate remains in the party, representatives of the NLC/TUC Political Committee, and all members of the former National Working Committee.

The meeting follows last week’s Supreme Court ruling that dissolved the National Working Council led by Julius Abul.
