During the Anambra governorship election, Labor lost the polls to the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The results announced at Polling Station No. 019 in Aguru District around 3 p.m.
On November 11, Anaocha LGA, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu defeated Labor Party gubernatorial candidate George Moghalu who polled 57 votes with 73 votes.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ranked third in the same unit with 38 votes.
After the vote, Obi expressed concern about the increasing financial temptations for voters.
