Peter Obi urges Nigerians to oppose the Tinubu government amid hunger and hardships.
Nigeria News Nalin The report said that 2023 Labor presidential candidate Peter Obi urged Nigerians to remain firm and firmly pursue a better country.
Speaking at the Labor Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, Obi said he was concerned about the hardships facing Nigerians.
The governor also stressed that Nigeria is on the verge of collapse and that citizens need to be fearless in seeking good governance.
His words: “Don’t be afraid of anyone. Those who are afraid of yesterday do better.
“When things go wrong, we have to speak out. Nigeria collapses. The numbers are clear; these indexes are clear – people are getting poorer every day.”
Obi described Labour as a family, further calling for unity and peace among Labour members.
“Labor chose to be a family and we have to do everything as a family. It has nothing to do with Peter Obie’s choice; it’s everyone’s choice. This family doesn’t include anyone. We want to create a fair and just party,” Obie said.
