
The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested 13 suspects in connection with D3ath of an 18-year-old girl in the Misau town of Misau local government area in the state.
The commander’s spokesman, CSP, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, revealed this in a statement Thursday, April 24, 2025, saying the suspect had an S3xual date with the deceased and when she became pregnant, the two people had an abortion for her, resulting in her D3ATH.
“On 04/04/2025 at about 0900hrs, information received from a reliable source revealed that sometimes about four (4) months ago, the following doubts, namely; Usman Umar ‘m,’ aged 22,s of Fawari area of Misau, Sallau Ayuba ‘m’ aged 21 years of Lariski area of Misau and Abubakar Mohammed ‘m’, aged 35yrs of area Misau (Misau) is a two-year student at AD Rufai College of Islamic and Law Studies.”
“The first and second defendants attracted a woman (rejected the 18-year-old name). They had S3xual with her on different occasions in different places, including Mahmood Lodge in the town of Misau, resulting in the assault of the victim and noted that the pregnancy (2) the defendant (2) the defender (2) the defender (2) the defender (2) the defender (2) the third place was rejected.
“They offered him 40,000 naira (40,000) to inject the pregnant victim and have an abortion. After the injection, the victim lost herself and became ill, which led to the victim’s family taking her to the general hospital Misu.
“She was later referred to Azare for further treatment. The hospital authorities later announced and certified D3AD while receiving treatment.
“After receiving the report, the suspect was arrested and admitted their tenacious behavior and mentioned other accomplices in connection with the case, i.e.; alkali kawu, Mai Mai Ride, Mai Tomatoes, Mai Tomatoes, Mai Tomatoes, Danguli, Danguli, Danguli, Yakubu. Kura. Kura is a civil servant, and there are four (4) others (4) others in the review, respectively, perpetrators of the police station.
“The order reaffirms its commitment and unwavering responsibility to ensure justice. The investigation is underway. After that, the suspect will be introduced and sued to the court for the correspondingly established offence.”
