    Police arrest child traffickers and rescue three victims in Ogun

    A man at Ogun State Police Command arrested a woman for allegedly trafficking in three underage girls in the state.

    Daily Report Nigeria collects that the suspect was identified as Opeyemi Adetoro, a 28-year-old woman was arrested in the Oke Itokuta area of ​​Abeokuta.

    The mother of a victim raised charges that her child was taken to Libya without her consent and police launched an investigation to arrest the suspect.

    A statement released on Monday, March 3 said the State Police spokesman, chief principal of police principal Omolola Odutola, said;

    “On March 2, 2025, at about 6:40 pm, Kehinde Somroin visited the police station and reported an unsettling incident. She said that just 40 minutes ago, at 6:00 p.m., she received shocking messages from her neighbor Latifat, who told her that Opeyemi Adetoro, 28, brought Somorin’s 17-year-old daughter Ifeoluwa to Libya without her consent,

    After receiving the report, the case was immediately forwarded to the surveillance team for further investigation. The interrogation shows that on March 1, 2025, Opeyemi Adetoro brought three children – 17-year-old Somroin Ifeoluwa, 16-year-old Ameerah Bamgboye and another girl who was only identified as Okikiola – from Ogun State to Ogun State, to Akure to Akure to Akure to Akure to Akure. From there, they boarded another vehicle to Sokoto, where a broker was waiting to smuggle them to Libya. ”

    Odutola added that the woman had been transferred to the state CID for further investigation.

    Police arrested two suspects, rescue victims in Kwara

    Police forces have successfully rescued the kidnapped victims in the state.

    During the operation, two suspicious kidnappers were also arrested.
