Soldiers from the Adamawa State Police Department have arrested Murtala Musa on suspicion of killing an 11-year-old boy in Kodomun Village, Demi Local Government Area, Adamawa State for arresting a herbalist Murtala Musa.
National Police Public Relations Officer SP Suleiman Nguroje confirmed the incident to a journalist, saying the incident had been reported to the police in Demsa on April 13, 2025 by the victim’s mother Kodomun and village chief Fancy Alifas.
Nguroje mentioned that the victim’s mother told police that her son, 11-year-old Yangapwa David, was taken to the aforementioned herbal home for treatment, but unfortunately during his detention.
According to her, arrangements were made to convey the body home, during which the body was left in the room of the Herbal Medicine House. Shockingly, when she came back, she found that her son’s left eye had been removed.
After receiving the report, police agents quickly visited the scene and arrested the suspect.
The state police department, Dankombo Morris, assured the public that the command will not be unwavering in ensuring justice.
Nguroje added that as the state Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), the suspect remains in custody.
