Soldiers from the Kwara State Police Department have arrested singer Habeeb Okikilola Badmus, aka Portable, after his senior colleague Okunola Saheed filed a petition to him, which has been called “Osupa,”
According to a statement by Command spokesman SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the petition’s boundaries for serious allegations include criminal slander, threats to life, incitement, assassination of character, which may lead to violations of peace and may cause abuse and insulting and insulting words.
“Because of the weight of these allegations and the supporting evidence presented, the command obtained a valid warrant from the District Court in Ilorin. The headquarters agents acted on the warrant and went to Abeokuta, Ogun State on Sunday, April 13, 2025, and the suspect was arrested at about 19:25 hours. He was immediately taken to Ilorin for further investigation.
Upon his arrival, the suspect’s statement was made in the presence of legal representatives of both parties. ”
The police imaging maker added that the portable is currently in custody and has arranged to sue him in court without delay.
Earlier today, Portable shared a video showing the moment he was picked up by an officer.
