    Police arrested five kidnappers, who had been arrested on M8rder at River Stadium and his son

    The headquarters spokesman SP Grace Iringe-Koko revealed this in a statement Tuesday, March 11, 2025, saying large quantities of weapons and ammunition were recovered from the suspects.

    According to PPRO, the suspect admitted to conducting multiple kidnapping activities, including the father and son Klling.

    “After a series of kidnappings in Rukpokwu, Igwuruta, Omagwa and Etche areas, the combat divisions of the combat division against Operation Intelligence conducted a coordinated operation on March 8, 2025 and opened at 09:30 am on March 8, 2025.” Statement Reading.

    “The operation lasted for eight hours and led to the arrest of the following men: Mohammadu Bello Rukpokwu, Adamu Musa, 30, Hadeja Lga, of Jigawa State, who lives in Rukpokwu, and Abubakar Mohammed, 22, Azare LGA, of Bauchi State, who lives in Rukpokwu.

    “During the trial, the suspect admitted to conducting several kidnapping activities, including the tragedy K of the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Omagwa!

    “The following exhibitions were recovered from the suspects: two (2) AK-47 rifles, six (6) AK-47 magazines, 66 (66) rounds, three (3) locally made pistols, ten (10) live cartridges, several cell phones and several cell phones and SIM cards.

    “The suspect is currently in police custody and is working with investigators.

    “Efforts are being made to reveal the details of other crimes committed by the group and arrest others.

    “River State Police Command ensures the public its unwavering commitment to ensure the safety and security of all residents.

    “Further updates will be made regarding this investigation in due course.”
