
Soldiers from Operation Udo Ga Chi of Anambra State Police Department broke out in the state’s Nnewi South Positage Area ukpor and arrested a suspect involving a horrible M8rder of a woman.
The commander’s spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed this in a statement Tuesday, April 29, 2025, saying that suspect Ewulu Chikwo said he admitted to being an armed criminal who attacked the Ukpor subdivision police headquarters, Women, Principal Stella Maris.
“On April 25, 2025, police agents affiliated with Quick Response Squad/Anti-Kidnappy Forces who operate on credible information destroyed a criminal battalion in UKPOR,” the statement said.
“They arrested an Ewulu Chikwo ‘M’, aged 35, at Osumoghu Isieke Village of Ihiala LGA. The suspect and his gang members plan to perform illegal sit-ins in the area the next Monday.
“During the interrogation of the suspect, he admitted to being a member of the banned indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) and among the armed criminals who attacked the UKPOR subdivision police headquarters in 2022, Ms. Police, Inspector Stella Maris, Inspector Stella Maris Gruesemely M8rdered.
“In view of the above, the Joint Security Forces have stepped up patrols in the area. Although the State Police Commander also ensures that any security information is taken promptly, especially as it affects the arrests of other gang members in the area.”
