
Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested by the Katsina State Police Department after a large amount of tramadol films worth 3,500,000.00 weete recovered from them.
According to a statement from the police vice principal, Abubakar Sadiq provided to news reporters on Thursday, April 17 that the arrest was based on reliable intelligence.
On March 20, 2025, about 1,600 hours, based on reliable intelligence, the operator of the order tracked and arrested a 27-year-old male, Murtala Salisu, Katsina State, Safana LG of Katsina State, owned 2,084 suspected Tramadolol tablets.
“During the trial, the suspect admitted to obtaining illegal drugs from a Rabe in Nasarawa (not his real name).
“He further mentioned Tanimu Abubakar of Jibia LGA in Katsina State, who was his accomplice. The suspects were arrested and they all admitted to the Crime Commission. The investigation is underway.
“Casina Command Police Chief Bello Shehu reiterated the command’s commitment to substance abuse, illegal drug trafficking and other drug-related crimes while ensuring the safety and security of good people in the country.
“He further urged the public to continue to support the order with valuable and timely information to help fight against a variety of crimes and crimes in the state.”
