Agent Efon-Alaaye of Amotekun Security Network has handed over Mrs. Damilola Clement, 43, to the police station for allegedly hitting her 9-year-old son in the head with a pestle.
In a statement signed by the Amotekun Communications Supervisor, suspect Adewale Adeleye from Akure called her at her residence in Efon-Alaaye with her son at her residence in Efon-Alaaye.
Adley said the suspect allegedly admitted to the crime, saying it was a punishment for his son’s repeated wrongdoing.
However, he added that the suspect had been handed over to the Efon-Ekiti Police Department for further investigation, while the injured boy was being treated at an undisclosed hospital in the town.
