
The Lagos State Police Command has successfully discovered and demolished an illegal internet fraud training institution commonly known as the “Yahoo School” operating in the IJU area of Lagos State.
In a successful operation, police detectives arrested four (4) Yahoo experts who run the notorious school, Chibuike Ihejika, 23; Stanley Ihejika, 22; Obiora Oyediba, 26; and Emmanuel Oyediba, 25.
The other six (6) suspects received all training in subject trainees, all trainees, cybercrime and fraud: Furious Henry, Elah, Elah, Boy, 20; apparently, over 26; daughter of Achunna Crosy, 26; Minachachive clergy. and Chumo Chapter, Chapter 23.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the main suspects of the facility recruited trainees from Anambra state, causing them to hire Internet fraud and other related crimes. The main suspects confiscated the proceeds from the fraudulent activities.
All suspects were transferred to Yaba’s State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further caution in investigation and prosecution. Efforts are underway to arrest the owners of facilities for funding for school admissions and for these criminal and illegal activities. The owner of the facility is hereby warned to warn him in his own interests to hide immediately on the Scid Panti.
Hundeyin mentioned that the Lagos State Police Department will ensure that all suspects are prosecuted after the investigation of the case.
He further pointed out that the suspect of minors, 12-year-old Minachi Ugochukwu, allegedly injured in his physical wounds, the main principal suspect inflicted him on the committee for the crime and placed him in protective custody by his relatives until his relatives were confirmed and identified with him and obtained a life.
He urged parents and guardians to monitor children and ward activities to prevent them from being exploited, seduced or forced to participate in criminal activities.
