A pregnant woman was found hanging along a belt tree from Uke-Ideani Road in the northern local government area of Anambra State University.
The lifeless body was found on Tuesday morning, May 6, 2026.
Although the situation around her D3ATH is not clear, it is suspected that she would either commit suicide or be M8RDER on Monday night.
Police agents at the Ojidi Police Department were warned by local residents and evacuated the body and stored it in the morgue.
Commander’s spokesman SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident in a statement that state police commissioners called on community leaders to assist in investigating “suspected murder”

“The CP described this incident as an unfortunate example, “human beings to humanity and ordered a thorough investigation of the incident to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
“To this end, the headquarters called on the public to help identify the dead because police agents from the Ogidi Police Department have recovered the body and deposited it into the morgue.”
