Nigerian street dance artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has released a diss song targeting his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple, and her family.
The song was released shortly after their tumultuous public split and appears to be the singer’s way of responding to the accusations against him, explaining his feuding stance and addressing the allegations involving Asabi’s mother.
Portable shared a video of the song on Instagram, where he can be seen dancing excitedly to the music. In the lyrics, the “Zazuu” singer calls out Asabi and lashes out at her mother, whom he accuses of asking him to buy her a car. He also asked Asabi to ask her father if he had purchased such a gift for her mother, while hinting that there were unresolved issues between them.
The release of the diss song comes amid reports of a tense confrontation between the singer and Ashabi Simple. During the altercation, Asabi allegedly made shocking comments that further fueled online reactions and inflamed the controversy.
Prior to the song’s release, Portable had accused Ashabi of storming into his residence and assaulting his family. He claimed his pregnant wife Bewaji was attacked during the incident and claimed the weapon was pointed at his child. He also said Asabi’s mother accused him of mentally influencing her daughter and questioned why he didn’t buy her a car.
In response, Ashabi gave her own version of events, explaining that she and her siblings had gone to Portbull’s home to celebrate the New Year, when things reportedly turned chaotic. She claimed the singer became aggressive, physically assaulting her, threatening them with an ax and snatching their phones.
Asabi further claimed that her brother and sister were also attacked during the confrontation. She and her siblings later reported the incident to the police, Legit.ng reported earlier. She added that although police reportedly visited Bewaji, Potbull was no longer at the scene when authorities arrived.
