The National Electric Power Employees Alliance (NUEE) has released a seven-day final atum to the management of Kaduna Electric Distribution Company to return to the negotiation form.
The union asked the company to reconsider the letter of “no longer needed service” to certain employees.
In a statement, the Alliance’s regional organization secretary 1, Northwest Territory, Ayuba Pukat accused management of ignoring ongoing talks and providing new letters to affected employees.

“It is frustrating that Kaduna Electric Management has not seen the concerns raised by the reasons to consider the union recalled negotiations,” Pukater said.
The union warns that failure to comply with the final scheming could lead to industrial action and could lead to power outages.
“We are returning the negotiation form by giving Kaduna Electric seven (7) days to the last pass. Not doing so will not guarantee the company’s industrial peace,” Pukat said.
