Through Tinubu’s special assistant on social media, Olusegun Dada calls Obasanjo the “hypocritical grandfather” of Nigeria.
Dada accused Obasanjo of turning himself into a king maker and demigod in the second semester between 2003-2004.
“Obj is obviously trying to refresh his bad democratic record with all possible tricks, trying to make himself blamed on him for how he performed in Nigeria, and it’s clear that OBJ is working to refresh his bad democratic record,” Dada said.

Dada further cited Obasanjo’s past actions, including his declaration of a state of emergency in the Plateau state and his suspension of Joshua Dariye and the state legislature in 2004.
“In the case of Obasanjo, the reason he suspended Dari and the plateau legislature was because Governor Darier did not take action to end the cycle of violence between the Muslim and Christian communities in Plateau State. He did not accuse them of suspending anything,” Dada said.
The president said Tinubu is not paying attention to the 2027 election.
The Presidential Palace said President Bora Tinubu is not focused on the 2027 election.
Tinubu’s special counsel on media and public communications dared to say on Sunday that the president is currently focusing on and focusing on his economic policies to improve the lives of Nigerians.
