Nigeria News Nalin The report said the president called naughty and politically mechanized nonsense, the report said that the U.S. District Court ordered confidential information about Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which was linked to the so-called federal investigation in the 1990s and was made public.

The order was issued by a judge on Tuesday Beryl Howellrequiring the highest U.S. law enforcement agencies to release documents related to their investigation into Tinubu.

this Decide for litigation U.S. citizen Aaron Greenspan filed in June 2023 under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Greenspan has sued several U.S. agencies, including the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the DEA and the U.S. State Department, accusing them of failing to release documents regarding Tinubu’s alleged involvement in drug trafficking in the 1990s.

According to Premium Times, Greenspan’s lawsuit stems from his FOIA request from 2022 to 2023, where they seek information about joint investigations conducted by the FBI, IRS, IRS, DEA and U.S. attorneys in Northern Indiana and Northern Illinois. He specifically requested criminal records related to four persons allegedly involved in heroin trafficking rings, including Bola Tinubu, Abiodun Agbele, Lee Andrew Edwards and Mueez Abegboyega Akande.

In response, the agencies issued a “Glomar” response, refusing to confirm or deny the existence of the requested file. Greenspan challenged the responses, claiming that the information was public and should not be detained under Foia waivers.

Judge Howell’s ruling was partially favored by Greenspan, noting that the “Glomar” response from the FBI and the DEA was inappropriate. The judge noted that the requirement to protect the information from public disclosure was “neither logical nor reasonable” given that the two agencies had admitted that the investigation into Tinubu had admitted.

Daniel Bwala responded in a post on Sunday afternoon, with a special adviser on policy communications accusing the president’s opponents of being behind the report.

He wrote:Under the guise of the U.S. court, naughty and politically mechanized nonsense takes action with the FBI and the DEA. They claimed the order was issued Tuesday, but until Sunday it had never seen the light of the media

“These objections have no objections and cannot try to remain relevant under the auspices of the Wild Chase Alliance.

“They went to meet Buhari and he reportedly insisted that the meeting was held on camera or on camera so that Elrufai would not go and say Buhari joined SDP and PDP.

“When trying, they are still trying to convince Nigerians that they have any plans, unnecessary alternatives.”
