President Tinob, did not Nas prevent my ministerial appointment? El-Rufai

Direct Governor Past of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai said his ministerial nomination, nominated by President Bola Tinubu in 2023, has not been met The Senate rejection was rejected by the president.

El-Rufai said in an interview Tuesday night that President Tinob had only “changed his mind” about the minister’s nomination.

“The National Assembly has nothing to do with it, and the President doesn’t want me to be in his cabinet.”

El-Rufai also criticized the party’s leadership, noting that Tinubu’s organs have been inactive since the time of office.

“I am a founding member of the APC, but I am concerned about how the party is held…how many people sacrificed a lot to make sure it was an internal Democratic party with progressive ideals, which was two years after the presidential election in Tinub In (Tinubu), no organ in either side is functioning. The ideal of progress is not full of vitality,” he said.

The former governor revealed that after large-scale negotiations, Tinob personally asked for his support and assured him of a ministerial nomination, which was under certain conditions. However, the president later withdrew from the proposal.

“Since I left the office, the president publicly begged me to support him, I said I would, I want nothing. I am a homemade man. I need nothing. In two months of negotiations, we finally agreed that he would Nominate me as minister, and under certain conditions, the President relies on the President in this regard to change his mind. Please do not believe that the National Assembly rejected my story, they have nothing to do with it, and the President does not want me to be in his cabinet.” Added.

El-Rufai has challenged alleged security concerning alleged rejection, insisting that there is no report on him.

“What security issues does the National Assembly have for me? Where is the report? Because the president called, he has much less qualifications and insufficient experience. He is a person and has the right to change his mind.” He said
