Nigeria News Nalin Yusuf Abdullahi ATA, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, threatened to transfer all Progressive Conferences (APCs) Go to Kano State.

Government appointees say he and his supporters will leave the party if Abdullahi Abbas or anyone like him are restored to the chairman of the Kano State party.

The ATA announced the popularity at a Fagge Party Caucus meeting held at the Kano Federal Secretariat on Saturday.

He claimed that despite a clear victory in the 2023 governoral election, God’s Word is the reason God has taken power from the political party.

ATA said, “We made it clear to everyone that if they brought him back we would leave. The party will definitely fall down again. We are not with people like this and we will not be consistent with them no matter what happens. They sent us a message and we responded accordingly.”

He described Abbas’s split remarks as blasphemy and blamed them on the losses of APC in the 2023 election.

He warned that if Abbas had another chance to lead in Kano, APC would lose again.

“We grow up with good morals; we know who God is, we respect our scholars and elders, we will not compromise on our values. If they insist on bringing him back, we will leave, and I swear, the party will fall again fall,” ATA announced.

He stressed the need to replace Abbas with reputable and respected individuals to ensure that APC restores control over Kano.

According to him, power is granted by God, not by voting or financial influence.

“Voting does not empower, money cannot buy power, and even the people have no rules for whom. Gawuna and Garo won the election cleanly, but fraud committed crimes against us. We went to court and proved that we were cheated. However, Ultimately, the one who empowers us is because we challenge him.” ATA added.

It is worth noting that this marks the first time the minister has publicly criticized Kano’s APC leadership.

However, many believe his remarks stem from opposition from party leaders to appoint ministers after party president Tinubu’s removal. Abdullahi Tijjani’s hero.
