President Bola Tinubu has awarded the National Honor of the Order of Niger officials for winning the 10th championship of the Nigerian Women’s African Cup of Nations Championship in Morocco.
The president said the winners would receive three-bedroom apartments respectively. He also announced the award of the technical team $50,000. “I have received this trophy on behalf of all Nigerians and I say to you: Thank you for your dedication, passion and remind us of the power of the Nigerian spirit. On behalf of a grateful country, I hereby award the players and 11 technical teams, the national officials of Niger (OON).
“In addition, I am here to guide the allocation of the three-bedroom apartment to each participant and member of the technical team. “In addition, the cash reward for Naira is the cash reward of 24 players, which is equivalent to $100,000 per person, while the cash equivalent to $50,000 per person, which is equivalent to a technical team of 11 people. “I congratulate you again and I will continue to pray for you. The spirit of Nigeria is indomitable and will never die.” Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum and Governor of Kwara State, also donated 10 million from 24 participants and technical teams on behalf of the forum.
