Federal prosecutors revealed new evidence on the third day of the trial, including music tycoon Diddy, comb, who faces charges of extortion including prostitution purposes, S3X trafficking and transportation.
In court, U.S. assistant attorney Emily Johnson showed the jury a series of graphic photos, including photos of so-called S3X workers and women identified as victims.
The first image shown is “Mia”, the female prosecutor claimed to be Diddy’s R@Ped. Next is a photo of S3X worker Jules, one with singer Cassie’s Jules, and further images of Cassie, as well as two male escorts, Dave and Greg. The prosecutor also introduced two photos of Cassie, one of which depicts her stripping on the sofa in her high heels after allegedly “freak”, while the other shows her covering her with candles and a bottle of lubricant in the backstage. After watching the final image, at least one juror was obviously uneasy.
The photos were submitted in Cassie’s ongoing testimony. Cassie, a former artist who signed Diddy’s record company and long-time partner, accused him of a series of violent and compulsive sexual behaviors. In the stands, she claims Diddy raped her after their relationship ended and said he threatened her when he learned that he was in love with musician Kid Cudi. She also testified that she suffered a repeated urinary tract infection, attributed to forced participation in S3X, known in court as a “freak” and was allegedly arranged by Didi.
Testimony and photographic evidence are part of a wider federal case that, if convicted, could face Didi for decades in prison. The defense is expected to begin cross-examination of Cassie on Thursday, May 15.
