Rumors of a breakup began circulating a few months ago after Orville came to public attention after she was seen without her wedding ring during a solo Christmas photoshoot.
In a recent video update shared by content creator Rita Onyekweli, she claimed Leonard asked Orville to leave their home as early as the middle of last year. They reportedly tried to mediate their dispute, including seeing a therapist, but those efforts failed to resolve the marital issues. Rita, who said she had known Orville for 22 years, said the couple’s relationship had not improved despite the interventions.
The film also includes allegations of abusive behavior by Leonard, who is said to have frequently insulted Orville. According to Rita, the actress developed defense mechanisms in response, which Leonard reportedly labeled as prideful and disrespectful.
Rita suggested that Orville’s recent on-set conflicts with co-workers may have been related to stress in her marriage, explaining that the experiences had changed her and that she was now better off since leaving the relationship.
Additionally, Rita claimed that Leonard had been discouraging other actors from working with The Orville and threatening to sever professional relationships with anyone who worked with her.
She called on Leonard to allow Orville to move forward in peace and focus on his career, stressing that since Orville preferred to keep his personal struggles private, both parties should respect each other’s space and move on amicably.
