Popular Nigerian actress Queen Hilbert sued police inspector general IGP Kayode Egbetokun for alleged arrest of her.
Queens filed a basic human rights lawsuit in the Federal High Court in Lagos State.
In a lawsuit on March 10, 2025, Hilbert accused Nigerian police of trying to arrest her under the instigation of her colleague and best friend Destiny Etiko.
In describing police attempts as “illegal, illegal and blatant” violation of her constitutional rights, she seeks protection from arrest, detention or inquiries about the video she posted on her Instagram page on March 7.
Queens also seeks “illegal invasion” compensation of 100 million nm.
After Destiny Etiko submitted a 100 million billion slander against Queeneth.
The Daily Post reported that Queens had deleted videos in videos of the rich man allegedly robbing her colleagues, including her boyfriend.
