
Jay-Z has filed new court documents revealing lawyer Tony Buzbee’s intentional attempt to blackmail him a large amount of money through two separate charges; one was dismissed, the other never even Go to court.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Buzbee sent two demand letters to Jay-Z in November 2024. A letter tied to Jane Doe, who accused Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” R@Ping at the age of 13 in 2000. The second one is related to John Doe, who attacked him in 2015 at a Beverly Hills party, where he was secretly drugged by Jay-Z.
Jay-Z denied both charges, saying they were “false and ridiculous in every way.” His legal team saw Buzbee’s letter as a blatant attempt to blackmail, with Jay-Z claiming Buzbee demanding “there’s something” to resolve the “situation.”
Last week, Jane Doe accusers voluntarily dismissed her case, marking a legal victory for Jay-Z and Diddy. However, Jay-Z’s latest filings suggest that the timing of the lawsuit was intentional. He claims Buzbee deliberately proposed it on the eve of his daughter Blue Ivy’s Hollywood premiere Mufasa: The Lion King To force him into a difficult position – whether you attend events or avoid media censorship. Jay-Z ended up attending the premiere and posed with Blue Ivy and Beyoncé, although he didn’t talk to the media.
Back in November, Jay-Z filed a lawsuit against Buzbee as anonymously and charged with extortion. Later, he appeared as a plaintiff, and Buzby tried to dismiss the lawsuit.
Now, Jay-Z is working to keep him alive with Buzbee’s case and said in court documents that he sees the attorney’s actions as “for my reputation, my career, my family and everything I’ve achieved throughout my life Survival threat. Transparent
Despite dismissing Jane Doe’s lawsuit, Buzbee did not back down, telling TMZ: “We hope this rash lawsuit will be dismissed.”
