Reality TV star Jax Taylor reveals him

Reality TV star Jax Taylor made a profound personal revelation, admitting he has struggled with his lifelong cocaine addiction. The 45-year-old ex VanderPump Rules Stars share his struggle in Tuesday’s episode Hot microphone Podcast, frankly addressing his past, he prepares for season 2 valley.

Taylor describes addiction as a “really serious disease” and acknowledges the challenge of overcoming the disease. He said it was an important step for him to openly admit his struggles and recognize his addiction as a disease that must be managed throughout his life.

The reality star proudly announced that he had started with cocaine and alcohol for 83 days, the longest time he had been without substance since he was 21 years old. He revealed that his cocaine addiction started at the age of 23 and has been a constant battle ever since.

Although he doesn’t think he’s addicted to alcohol, Taylor admits drinking is often accompanied by his drug use, which is why he decided to quit both. He participated in the recovery twice and noted that his second attempt was more successful because he was personally prepared to make a change.

Taylor recalls a pivotal moment when he decided to seek help – an episode in which his son Cruz was in front of his son Cruz, who shared him with his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. The incident made him feel “disgusted” with himself, prompting him to seek hospitalization in July 2024. After recovering, he revealed that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD.

Taylor stressed on the podcast that drugs and alcohol are rarely the root causes of addiction, and he shows that people often turn to substances to deal with deeper problems. Now, with the proper diagnosis and commitment to sobriety, he focuses on living a healthier, more modern life.
