Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has set the social media abuzz following reports that she may have hinted at a marital crisis brewing as she may hint at her separation from billionaire husband Ned Nwoko.
According to Vanguard, the actress posted a cryptic message on her Instagram Story that read: “I already had a roof over my head, and the next step was divorce.”
The post quickly sparked widespread speculation that Regina might be considering ending her marriage.
The development comes shortly after Nwoko publicly justified his polygamous lifestyle during an appearance on a television channel.
The billionaire politician said he “sympathizes with men who only have one wife,” comparing monogamy to “standing on one leg.”
“Imagine being asked to stand on one leg. It would be difficult. But it would be more stable to stand on two, three or four legs.” he said.
Nwoko, who is married to four women, including Regina, stressed that polygamy provides him with balance and peace, adding that he remains happy with his marriage choices.
Rumors of tension between the couple intensified after a viral video showed an emotional Regina accusing Nwoko of domestic abuse.
In response, Nwoko denied all the allegations, insisting that he never raised a hand against any of his wives or children. He describes himself as a person who values harmony and mutual respect within his family.
