A retired nurse has attracted attention online after commenting on the health condition of renowned Nigerian gospel artiste Nathaniel Bassey, urging the public to pray for him.
The development comes shortly after the singer revealed on the Hallelujah Challenge that his wife has suffered five miscarriages in the past.
The nurse, @Jenny86753, claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that Nathaniel Brazil may be battling an undisclosed illness, but that he continues to serve God faithfully through his ministry.
“Pray for Nathaniel Brazil. It’s obvious he’s not feeling well, but he’s working hard to win. In the name of Jesus, amen.” she wrote.
In a follow-up post, the nurse thanked those who had joined in praying for the evangelical pastor, calling Brazil a “blessing to the world” and expressing confidence that he would be grateful for the prayers of other believers.
“Thank you all for praying for Nathaniel Bassey. I’m sure he appreciates the love and intercession of his brothers and sisters in Christ as he continues the Hallelujah Challenge.” she added.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel Bassey is one of the latest Nigerian artistes to mourn the death of famous pastor Uma Ukpai at the age of 80. Details about his death have not been made public.
