    • The River State’s failure shrouded the speculation that Forbala impeached each.

    • Ijaw leader Asari Dokubo issued a stern warning to Tinuu, Woke and Pro-Prowike Laitmaks, threatening to have a peaceful effect.

The 27 defecting legislators, led by the restored horse aewhule, allegedly called “professional legislators” were allegedly crafted an improvisation plan to expel current river governor Similaye Fubara.

The development is said to be led by housing spokesman Martyns Amaewuhle.

The Nigeria Daily Report reports indicate that the move was silently sponsored by Abuja FCT Minister and former River Governor Nyesome Wike.

With the help of the Supreme Court ruling, this political agenda appears to be the reason for the heightened tensions in Rivers State, which appears to favor pro-groups.

Recall that on Friday, February 28, a five-member jurist led by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim considered Fobala’s appeal flawed and granted legislators from Martyns Amaewuhle’s legislators to visit its office.

The rulings that these legislators have ignored the rulings of defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to all Progressive Congress (APC) are recognized, acknowledging their legitimacy. These legislators are said to be Vic’s loyalists, and since their recovery has changed the balance of power in the state’s legislative branch.

The court also canceled the local government council elections held on October 5, 2024, insisting that the electoral magistrate, the River State Independent Election Commission (RSIEC), observed proper procedures and transparency when organizing the polls.

The judgment also ceased the monthly allocation of Rivers State from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and federal accounting generals until a new election to the state’s 23 LGA is completed.

Since the passage of this judgment, River State has been a boiling cauldron, with Governor Fubara being pushed to a suffocating corner.

As if that wasn’t enough, from restoring legislators to the governor’s final 2025 budget in 48 hours, it’s part of the chewing.

According to the awakening MP, the governor was unable to resubmit the budget proposal, which would be considered a violation of the 1999 Constitution and Article 121 of Justice James Omotomo’s Court of Appeal, Abuja’s ruling on the matter.

Can Fubara look at all of this, believing that Amaehule legislators have the full support of the Supreme Court in Nigeria and some higher powers behind it?

He has started to implement a budget of more than 2 months? He acknowledged in national broadcast that bringing budgets to lawmakers is not a problem, but how to re-submit the budget that has been implemented to parliament.

27 members passed their spokesman Amaehule, saying that the governor failed to achieve the final pass to violate Article 192(2) of the 1999 Constitution, with the consequences likely to have serious consequences.

Responding to the background of the Rivethe RS crisis, which pointed out that the umbrellas of Fubara’s improvisation, Ijaw National Assembly, Inc and Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Ijaw Land should not cause harm to their son Fubara or his office, respectively.

As Dokubo warns, the river crisis is getting higher and higher.

In addition, the famous Ijohn leader Asari Dokubo issued a strong warning to the Federal Capital Territory Minister President Bola Tinubu, Nyesom Wike and 27 lawmakers in Rivers, demanding that they abandon any plans to infringe on Sim Fubara.

Dokubo holds the title of Da-Amakiri Tubo and Amanyanabo of the Kingdom of Elem Kalabari, which he stated on a live broadcast on Facebook.

He warned that any move to evacuate Forbala from the office could undermine the country’s stability and lead to political unrest.

Despite the flexibility statements of legislators who have not yet suffered rehabilitation, their actions have been measured in a tendency to expel the current governor.

According to the inclusion of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1999 and the constitution was amended when it was removed, the constitution stipulated that the speaker of the state legislator gradually joined and served as governor for three months; after which a new governor election will be held, and the acting governor is also eligible to participate in the competition.

Similarly, the possibility of impeachment attempts against Governor Fobara, who was once a close ally of Vick, has since stood out after the 2023 election.

In the history of the River State, Similaye Fubara was the only Riverman to install a seat of governor in twenty-six (26) years. Since then, it has been highlanders like Peter Odili, rotimi amaechi, nyesome Wike and others.

Therefore, the reaction of the ijaw man who seems to be protecting his son.

Political analysts believe that if the matter is handled improperly, it could lead to an uncontrolled crisis that may lead to a state of emergency declaration in the state.
