Some women in Rivers State have publicly opposed the wife of the state’s current administrator, accusing her of being an impostor.
The first lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, visited the state for activities and as part of the formalities for such incidents, the wife of the state administrator should speak before the first lady speaks.
But the women present shouted, hoping their governor would return.
One of the women said;
“We want to simulate. If it weren’t for Valeria, we wouldn’t want anyone’
Another visibly angry river woman said.
“Who is that impostor? Ibas’s wife is speaking to the river women. who is she? Come pack your load ladies! ”
Another said;
“We hope Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu will come to speak to the women. She is the one we are waiting for. We don’t need a stranger’s wife! We want to simulate now, today is not tomorrow”
A woman said;
“She should go to Calabar to collect the first lady. We want to simulate ”
