The Rwandan singer reportedly died at the age of 36 in Kampala on Wednesday, September 3. Her media manager Bikem Wa Yesu confirmed the sad news the next day (Thursday, September 4, 2025).
The news of her sudden death shocked her fans in Rwanda, Uganda and Nigeria.
Bikem, who accompanied Gogo to Uganda for a series of music events, expressed his heartbreak in social media posts: “Rip Gogo, what a terrible news! God, strengthen my heart.”
Although the official cause of her death has not been revealed yet, Pulseug reports that she has been battling heart-related health problems.
