    Mohabad: "I don't even know where he lives” - Sam Larry confessed

    After months of speculation and public objection, controversial Nigerian show promoter Sam Larry has finally settled the allegation that links him to the tragic death of rising music star Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

    In a recent exclusive interview with the very naive activist, Sam Larry broke the silence by offering his story around the Virus Beach confrontation video, which resurfaced after Mohbad died in September 2023.

    “That video was misunderstood” – Sam Larry said

    Sam Larry spoke directly on the now-infamous 9-second clip, showing him in the face-to-face with Mohbad on the beach, claiming that the situation was blown away from the proportions, was widely misunderstood.

    He explained: “That video is only nine seconds. I was on the beach with my son. I saw Moubad and went and asked for a refund to return the show he didn’t attend.”

    “Zlatan was there and he quickly stepped in to solve the problem. There was no attack or violence. People misunderstood what happened.”

    The video initially sparked anger across social media, with many interpreting the clip as a threat or intimidation act toward the late singer. But Sam Larry insists that the exchange is about business.

    Zlatan’s silence explains

    When asked why rapper Zlatan Ibile never publicly confirmed that the encounter was peaceful, Sam Larry claimed that Zlatan was warned to avoid speaking on the matter.

    “Zlatan said if he talks, blood coots for him.”

    Where was Sam Larry during Mohbad’s death?

    Sam Larry talked about the timeline of the incident where Mohbad died in September 2023, revealing that he was not in Nigeria at the time of the incident.

    He claimed: “I’m in Dubai and Naira Marley is in Amsterdam.”

    The interview marks Sam Larry’s first full public statement since Mohbad’s death, a tragedy that continues to spark debate, investigation and call for justice in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
