The court also shelved the ruling of the Kano Federal High Court’s order of June 20, 2024, which eliminated the actions of the Kano State Government’s actions by the Kano State Emirates Commission (repealed) 2024, including the dissolution of the five emirates created in 2019 and Sanusi II for Emir.
It is implied that the final decision on the restoration of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as Kano’s 16th Emir or otherwise recovering will now await the announcement of the Supreme Court.
