
Saudi Arabia announced that the Muslim holiday, Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting period, will begin on Sunday, March 30.
“The Supreme Court has decided tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025, is the first day of Eid,” the Royal Court said in a statement filed by the official official news agency on X.

The timing of Eid al-Fitr is determined based on the Muslim lunar calendar.
The United Arab Emirates and Qatar also announced that Sunday will be the first day of the holiday.
Meanwhile, Omani and Shia few Iran said Eid al-Fitr will begin on Monday, March 31.
