
Suspicious militia among three Benue fish merchants in Alufu Village in the Wokari local government area of Talaba.

Logo LGA president Hon Clement Kav confirmed the killing of traders in the journalist on Monday, April 7, saying the traders were invited to buy fish in Taraba and the man who was murdered.
“Five fish traders in the Ukembelegywa ward in the local government area of Benue State logo were called on Saturday and someone went to buy fish in a village after Alufu in Talaba State,” he said.
“The top three traders followed a path along the fish, while the other two traders were behind. Upon reaching Alufu, a group of people who believed to be militia arrested the first three, tied their hands behind and killed them with a knife.
“After discovering what happened to their brother, the remaining two merchants ran away and escaped the scene. One of the escapees, Mrs. Tabitha Atoo, was the one who returned to the news to inform us.”
Kraft said he immediately called Wukari local government chairman Hon. Dauda Samaila made him intimately relate to the incident.
He said: “I quickly called my brother, President of the Vukari Local Government Council, to get him to investigate the incident. He urged me to ask people to bring the report of the incident to the Arufus Police Station, Kraft said.
