Nigeria’s 10th Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has denied recent reports that he collapsed and was subsequently airlifted to a London hospital for treatment.

His communications and strategy adviser, Kenny Okolugbo, issued a statement of denial after an online news platform published a report on Monday alleging a health scare.

When contacted by Daily Mail, Okorugbo succinctly dismissed the claims, saying: “This is a lie, fake news” without providing further details.

In other news… A young woman has sparked debate about modern relationships by sharing a frustrating date experience that happened when the bill was introduced.

In a video shared by @Chinonso on To her surprise and disappointment, the man made no attempt to stop her or offer to pay. Instead, he just watched quietly.

Recalling this experience, she said: “I was dating this guy, so I purposely took out my card to pay for it. He didn’t even try to stop me. It was like he was just watching. I had to ask myself, what has become of a man these days?”.

Her story quickly sparked reactions online. Some commentators criticized the man, with one writing, “There is no hope for these people!”.

Another questioned: “Who raised these people? “.
