A few days after the Senate accused the Senate president of sexually harassing her for six months on alleged misconduct.
Akpoti-uduaghan joined the National Assembly, Senate, Senate President, Goldville Akpabio and Senate Code of Ethics, Privileges and Conduct Chairman Senate Neda Imasuem as defendants in her motion.
On Monday, May 12, after the withdrawal of Justice Obiorah Egwuatu, Binta Nyako’s lawsuit was suspended when it was called on Monday, May 12, Senator Jibrin Okutekpa (SAN) told the court that all these documents that the plaintiff had filed in court were dependent on the court and in court.
Attorneys for Senate Paul Daudu (SAN) and Senate President Ekwo Ejembi told the court they also filed various documents to rely on the matter, but brought the court’s attention to a motion to disobey the court’s orders against the plaintiff.
Two senior lawyers representing the second and third defendants in the lawsuit said the plaintiffs had responded to their motion.
They both claimed that when she posted a sarcastic apology letter to the Senate president on her Facebook page on March 27 and published a sarcastic satirical letter in some national dailys.
Plaintiff’s attorney Michael Numan (SAN) confirmed the receipt of the motion and reminded the court to file a motion to disobey the court orders to target all defendants filed earlier.
He said the alleged statement attributed to the plaintiff had no connection with her, adding that the alleged statement of contempt was not connected with the plaintiff.
Eko Ejembi Eko, representing Akpabio, said he filed a notice on May 5 accusing the plaintiff of Facebook posts as a direct mockery of a court order.
Meanwhile, Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan accused the Senate president of attempting to curb her right to freedom of speech among her anti-devotes and insisted that her recent satirical letter to the Senate president never violated court orders, violated court orders, and spoke to the party with the media.
The suspended senator noted that the matter before the court was allegedly an illegal suspension of her Senate, despite the contents of her viral letters centered around her S#xual harassment allegations against the Senate president.
