The Lagos Seriki Hausawa committee convened EPE, champion unity, peace and selfless leadership.
In a renewed call for unity, peaceful coexistence and responsible leadership, the seriki hausawa agency of Lagos State convened a monthly meeting on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the historic EPE, from five departments of the state, Ikorodu, Ikorodu, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Ikeja, Lagos Island and Epe (ibile) (ibile).
The party was hosted by Sarkin Hausawa (his Royal Highness Alhaji Haruna Sule) of the Epe Division, at the palace of St. Michael Street in Epe. The meeting formed part of the body’s efforts to promote solidarity in the Arewa community in Lagos and strengthened its commitment to peaceful and selfless leadership.
At the gatherings, various Serikis emphasized the importance of solidarity, peace and service-oriented leadership, the cornerstone of social development. They responded to a collective determination to maintain harmony and promote the cultural value of their respective jurisdictions.
VIPs present included HRH Alhaji Hassan Auyo, Seriki of Idaba Alhaji Ahmed Ahmed Harude Yusufa, the overall king of Alimosho, chairman of the North Chairman Committee of Alimosho; Seriki Hrh Alhaji Bello Shehu of Majoda; Hrh Alhaji Hassan Harmuto in Faga Kabiru Aliyan Hrh Alhaju-Leekki; and Hrh alhaji lcda ibrahim.
Others are involved in Ipaja’s Hrh Alhaji Gad Garba; Isheri-Olin’s Hrh Alhaji Sendstapa Darmallam; HRH Alagbado-Okeja-Okee. Hrh Alhaji Sulermin Abdullahi of Akeshan; and HRH Alhaji San’idu Yule of Alimosho Local Opportom.
During the meeting, HRH Alhaji Haruna Sule also took advantage of the occasion to come to the newly appointed headscarf, including the Chief, including shield and minister EPE, strengthening the traditional leadership structure in the local AREWA community.
In his speech, Sarki Saule expressed his sincere gratitude to Epe Local Government Executive Chairman Hon. Surah Animashaun, unwavering support for her and provides a ceremonial hall for the community at the City Council Secretariat. He guarantees the community’s continued loyalty and support for her government.
Seriki Hausawa’s institution is known for its rotation of monthly gatherings, which previously held an Amuwo-Odofin conference at the palace of Hrh Alhaji Sulaiman Mai Kaji in Kuje. The next conference is scheduled for Ikorodu department.
