Social media personality and self-proclaimed financial expert, GehGeh has shared her views on the ongoing marital issues between Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, which have recently resurfaced online.
In a video that went viral on social media, GehGeh responded to the popular claims made by Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, about Nwoko.
Rita reportedly claimed Regina donated $50,000 (£71m) to her husband’s campaign and contributed heavily to his political career.
GehGeh expressed disbelief at the claim and said it was unrealistic to suggest that a Nigerian senator could go bankrupt.
“When Ned Nwoko gave Regina Daniels $100,000, she came out and bragged. Now they have a problem and she told the world she gave him $50,000 during the election. To say Ned Nwoko is broke is a lie.” Gegege said.
She further explained that Nwoko may not have given Regina as much money as she expected, which may have led her to believe that he was broke and that he was only protecting his wealth.
“Any man in his 60s, we haven’t built his life yet, a young girl is coming into this man’s life, and even if he still loves you, he knows that this man is not here for love, and because of this, he has to protect his wealth and everything we get, no matter what, they will not give it to you,” he said.
