Senior democratic strategist James Carville predicts President Donald Trump’s administration could “collapse” within thirty days.
Cavill told Democrats in an interview with Mediaite founder Dan Abrams to avoid solving Trump on every issue and watch events when unfolding against him.
Abrams commented on Democrats’ opposition to many of Trump’s nominations, saying that the more angry they are, the more it fits into Republican narratives.
Calville answered his question about what the left should do, urging Democrats to “play as possum” and added: “The whole thing is falling apart.”
“I think this government is in a state of massive collapse and a collapse in public opinion in less than 30 days,” the political adviser said.
Carville, 80, further cited the poll, which showed that the president’s approval rate fell from a low in the fifties to the thirties.
In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) over the weekend, Trump said more and more Americans agree with his performance in the four weeks before his tenure.
