
On Monday, February 17, a articulated vehicle hit the agency’s shuttle bus, federal University Lokoja, FUL and a driver’s six students have already d! ed.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 2.30pm on Monday.
Six people, composed of students and the driver of the Ful shuttle, died in the accident.
According to sources, the articulated vehicle is carrying wood and cans of Jerry, heading towards the Abuja axis.
“Unfortunately, the driver lost control and ran into the Ful shuttle bus that was already full of students and was about to teleport them to school.
“The shuttle was crushed by articulated vehicles,” the source said.



Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC officials rescued some victims trapped under articulated vehicles on the ground.
Samuel Oyedeji, commander of Kogi’s national department at FRSC, led his team to the scene of the accident and could not confirm the number of casualties in the accident.


The department commander said the bodies have been deposited in the morgue for identification, while the injured have been moved to federal teaching hospitals, Lokoja and Kogi State specialist hospitals for treatment.
The students went to Facebook to mourn the dead while releasing some photos to identify some of them.
