Nigerian artist Raoul John Njeng-njeng (commonly known as Skales) expressed disappointment at the betrayal faced by the individuals he helped in the music industry.
The Afrobeats star revealed on his X page that some of the artists he supported early in his career eventually turned to him. Despite his disappointment, Skeles insisted that he was still grateful, saying that God has always been faithful to him and continues to reward his good deeds.
Reflecting on his journey, the singer emphasized the importance of prayer and faith, sharing that his late mother has been suggesting that he trust God through all the challenges.
Skales wrote in his post: “One day, I’ll sit down and tell you a story about how many people are against me, including those I helped build this industry. But guess what. What? Even when I’m in quarantine, God will never fail… You will never stop praying and trusting God… The best advice my mom gave me!!!”
His statement has since sparked reactions between fans and industry observers, with many praising his resilience and unwavering beliefs.
One day I will sit down and tell you a story about how Alota people turn to me, including those I have built in this industry, but guess even in isolation, God will never let me down…you won’t stop praying and trusting God, and everything you get…the best…the best…
