Nigerian lawyer Rilwan Oke once said that some women will become second, third and fourth wives, whether they like it or not.
He expressed his objection to this on X against Aisha’s reaction, who is said to be the second wife of X influencer Suraj Oyewale aka Sir Jarus.

“Some of you will be second, third or fourth wives, and there is nothing you can do about that,” the lawyer wrote.
“Suddenly, the choice of a woman is no longer important because she made a choice that disagrees? She chose to be a second wife, what business does anyone have about it? Should she conduct a poll among everyone so that she can make a decision on her own? No problem Sir J has with his first wife can actually control Aisha’s control. So, why are you bullying her?”
Oke, a Lagos-based lawyer, released several detainees in October 2020 in The End of Protests.
