The Soso Pondi Foundation has started solar installation training for 50 young people in the Niger Delta.
Mr. Soso Pondi, chairman of the Soso Pondi Foundation, announced the plan on Saturday.
Speaking to beneficiaries at the Egbema Gbaramatu Community Development Centre, Mr. Poundie accused young people selected from communities across the region, seeing the initiative as an opportunity to “change our communities and our planet.”
“The program is more than just an opportunity, it is an opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future, leverage the power of the sun and bring energy independence to the need for it most.
“The Soso Pondi Foundation’s confidence in you proves your potential. We believe in your ability to learn, grow and make a difference.

“So, when you do this training, I urge you to embrace it every moment. Dig into the course, ask questions and share your thoughts.
“Remember, you’re not just learning a skill; you’re becoming an ambassador for change. Your passion and dedication will enlighten others on the way and inspire them to join this important cause.
“You have the ability to influence life, enhance community, and drive change that we desperately need. So enjoy the responsibility that this opportunity brings.
“Knowing that you are part of something much bigger than yourself, wear the badge of the Soso Pondi Foundation,” the chairman said.
