Southampton Football Club announces Ivan Juric’s withdrawal as their man is confirmed after their Premier League relegation
Ivan Juric has been in charge of the club for only 108 days and has lost 12 of his 14 Premier League games. It is reported that there are termination clauses in the Croatians’ contract if Southampton is relegated from the Premier League.
The Saints wrote their name in Premier League history books, becoming the first team ever to leave England’s top league, with seven games to win seven games after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1.
Juric was appointed a week before the 18-month contract before Christmas 2024, with a rest clause that will be reviewed at the end of the season. He was responsible for 16 games in all games, with only 2 wins – one in the FA Cup and the other in the league against Ipswich Town, 13 losses and a draw.
