A criminology major who stabbed a personal trainer to death at Bournemouth Beach has been sentenced to 39 years in jail.
Nasen Saadi, 21, fatally stabbed 34-year-old physical coach Amie Gray and injured her friend Leanne Miles as the two had a late-night chat at the Dorset Seaside Resort on May 24 last year.
The defendant has been studying at Greenwich University, where he collected knives and studied the killing sites-even asked his course lecturers about how to escape murder.
He was also sentenced at Winchester Crown Court for failing to provide the cell phone PIN code.
Saadi is armed with a knife, approaching Amie and Leanne, 38, as they sit on Durley Chine Beach shortly after 11.30 pm.

Without warning, Sadie attacked Ms. Miles by stabbing more than a dozen times. Ms. Gray bravely distracted Sadie, shouting to him “escape” her friend, allowing Ms. Miles to escape.
Ms. Gray was stabbed 10 times and could not survive.
Although the victim was randomly selected that night, the attack was the culmination of Saadi’s long research and planning process – prosecutors successfully believed that he was aimed at murder.
Saadi’s history of internet search shows that he has a good determination to murder and get rid of the murder case.
In the weeks before his arrival in Bournemouth, his internet searches included such as “Why do this in another town, why it’s hard to catch the killer.”
He also searched for Bournemouth Beach if it is open at night, if it is easier to run than the sandy beaches – and what terrain Bournemouth Beach. He even went to search for which hotels in the area had CCTV.
“Amie Gray died in the most tragic way and our deepest condolences are still with our family,” said Benjamin May, senior royal prosecutor at CPS Wessex.
The brave final scene of Amie’s bravery in protecting her friends does define her identity, and her life will be remembered forever by the love and protection she gives to her loved ones.
“Our mind continues to stay with her friends and family and Leanne Miles, who helped us provide justice through this ordeal heroism.
Sadie’s ill-fated fascination with murder and violence becomes the evil, real-world consequences of his face. ”
