The feud between Afrobeat superstar Davido and Anuoluwapo Mitchelle, a 12-year-old girl who claims to be his daughter, has intensified after a chat was leaked. In the chat, the singer allegedly threatened to arrest the girl’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, for continued “harassment.”
The conversation, reportedly shared on Anoluwapo’s Instagram page, co-managed by her mother, shows a tense exchange, with Davido standing his ground and denying paternity. While the singer has yet to confirm the authenticity of the chats, the messages have gone viral.
In the leaked chat, Davido allegedly warned: “Stop this nonsense. Keep playing and I will arrest your mother. Try this nonsense again. I am not your father.”
When Anoluwapo reportedly clarified that her mother was not part of her personal appeal, Davido doubled down:
“I am not your father. Go find your father. This is the last time. I warn. I have done five DNA tests. You are not mine. Please stop this nonsense before things get messy.”
Anoluwapo asked about the test results and Davido allegedly replied:
“Yeah, I’ll tell you. Five. Two of the hospitals your mother chose. Two of the hospitals I chose. All negative. Four tests. And then one test every ten years. That’s five. You’re not my child.”
He expressed frustration at the protracted dispute, adding,
“You’ve been harassing me all these years and it has to stop. It’s not fair to my real children. Please, stop.”
Davido reportedly said he would go public with the matter and take legal action:
“Don’t worry, I’m going to put it out in the paper tomorrow. I’m going to put it out online and in the paper. And then I’m going to take your mom to court. She thinks this is a game. Just watch. She’s going to jail.”
When Anoluwapo asked for the name of the hospital, he allegedly replied:
“It will show up in the test. You don’t have to worry. I’m not your father. I’m sorry. You’re not my child. We’ll make everything public. Warn your mother. You’re not Adeleke. I’m sorry. You can also go to the hospital to confirm for yourself.”
