According to a report by a Sahara reporter on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, seven students from Lokoja (FUL) of Kogi State Federal University were killed in a collision with an articulated truck and a university shuttle bus.
The accident occurred around 2:30 on Felele Highway, a route notorious for frequent accidents involving heavy vehicles.
Witnesses reported that the truck was filled with wood and palm oil, lost control and hit a fixed shuttle bus that was ready to transport students to campus.
