Super Hawks star Victor Osimhen said Super Hawks players must be prepared to give everything to ensure a place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles won with three points in Group C with four games.
The three-time African champion will play against Rwanda’s Amwabi at the Rwanda Stadium in Kigali next Friday, and then will host the Zimbabwe Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in UYO on Tuesday, March 25.
Osimmon said players must take responsibility and strive for a place in the World Cup.
“Winning football matches requires not only coaches. Players also have to be at their best, show commitment and remember that we can all fly together to achieve our goals.
Most players will meet with new head coach Eric Chelle for the first time early next week. Osimhen revealed that he had spoken to the new gaffer.
He added: “I’ve spoken with him a few times and have a clear understanding of the goals he set for himself and the players.”
