

Nigeria’s Super Hawks dropped a spot in the latest FIFA rankings, released by the agency on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
The three-time AFCON winner is ranked sixth in Africa and is occupied by the 2023 AFCON winner (Ivory Coast) and ranked sixth in Africa. However, Nigerians will cheer for Nigerians as the Super Eagles rises from 44th to 43rd in the world rankings, and like the Goose Coast moves from 46th to 41st, which is why there is a change on the African roster.
Morocco is ranked No. 1 ahead of Africa and 12th in the world, while Senegal is ranked No. 2 in the world and No. 2 in the world. Egypt and Algeria ranked third and fourth respectively, while ranking 32nd and 36th in the world.
In the world, Argentina has been in the first place after its victory in Uruguay and Brazil. Spain rose to second, surpassing France, which fell to third. England still ranks fourth, while Brazil finished the top five.
The Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Italy and Germany respectively took their positions from sixth to tenth.
