
Another boy was seriously injured after a teenage boy committed violent arguments against a woman during an Eid-el-fitr celebration in Tasha Dinya Village, local government area in the Adamawa State.
Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, involving 18-year-old Idrisu Nuhu and his 16-year-old cousin Ahmadu Lawali.
According to police, the two fought fiercely and attacked each other with machetes.
Idrisu had a deep cut on the head, while Ahmadu suffered a severe neck injury.
Their relative, Nuhu Alhaji Muazu, took them to the Malabu Primary Health Care Clinic, where D3AD was later confirmed by the attending physician.
Ahmadu is still in critical condition and is undergoing treatment.
Police sources said it had recovered two knives from the scene with exhibits, and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been assigned to conduct a thorough investigation.
